UAB "Baltic Tours Group" is implementing the project "Development of a new innovative solution using open data".

UAB "Baltic Tours Group" has been granted EUR 69982 in funding under the "Open Data Utilisation" measure for the project No 02-045-K-0045 "Creation of a new innovative solution for UAB Baltic Tours Group using open data". The value of the project is EUR 139965.

The project aims to develop an innovative solution for the inbound tourism sector based on the integration of open data. This system will allow the company to effectively develop and promote its tourist products using various open data sources from both Lithuanian and international portals. This includes data on vehicle arrival and departure times, weather, electric car charging stations, accommodation, guides and other tourism-related information. The main objective of the project is to integrate open data into a system that can help develop and market travel products, optimise pricing and provide added value for both tourism agencies and consumers. The solution will be built on open data combined with artificial intelligence for price calculation, weather, presale and post sale sales methods.

The project started on 2 October 2024 and will run until 31 March 2026.

The project is co-funded by the European Union.
