When you are planning a travel to Poland be sure to plan a visit to St. Mary’s Church in Krakow. Church was start to build in 13th century. Today this 80 meters tall church is famous for its wooden altarpiece which is made from lime wood, then painted and gilded. Measuring about 13m high and 11m wide, it is the largest and most important example of medieval art in Poland.
