In the same year when Tiskevicius Palace was built, gardens started to appear here. Famous French botanist and landscape architect Eduard Fransua Andre and his son Rene created a design for these palace gardens. André began working on gardens in 1895, taking three years to complete the work. Now the charming palace is surrounded by a park with ponds, fountains, and collections of rare plants. Park covers an area of approximately 100 ha. In the northern side of the palace, you will see an incredible view of fountain; compositions of flowers and an oval rose garden surrounds the southern side of the luxurious palace. In this park, you will find not only unique plants brought from different European botanical gardens but also impressive sculptures and architectural objects like tiny ornamental bridges. Baltic Tours suggests visiting Palanga and its stunning palace with a botanical garden. Come here not only during the day but also when it’s dark outside, you will be surprised of difference created by a decorative lighting system. Baltic Tours recommends you to visit Lithuania and its resort town Palanga. Enjoy bright colours of flowers and pleasant smell, tiny bridges and sounds of birds. We are sure that you would love to come back here again!
