Founded more than 900 years ago today Bergen is a second biggest city in Norway and perfect destination during your holidays. Surrounded by seven mountains and fascinating fjords, pastel houses and friendly people Bergen looks more like a city from fairytale and is waiting to be explored!

While exploring the streets of Bergen you can feel like you are back in time to the Middle Ages. Most of the architecture is preserved or rebuilt during ages. In the 13th century Bergen was an important trade city in Hansas and was a popular destination for people from all over the world. What is the best way to check all city than from the top of the mountain? Take Fløibanen funicular from the city center and see all Bergen in just a few minutes. The Funicular takes you to an amazing area in approximately 320 meters above sea level where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Bergen and fjords.


If you were always amazed by underwater world do not miss a chance to visit Bergen Aquarium which is one of the biggest aquariums in Europe. Sea lions, penguins and various fishes – more than 50 different aquariums is full with flora and fauna from the coastline of Norway and even other parts of the world.
